Built in 1963 & located in Houston, TX, the Johnson Space Center has lead the way in human space flight training, research & flight control. It was the lead center for all Space Shuttle activity & the JSC mission control center manages all activites on board the International Space Station. From the Apollo Program of the 1960's that put the first man on the moon, to the Space Shuttle Program, to robotics & Mars exploration, JSC will continue to lead the world in man's exploration into the last frontier.
